Learning Care is hiring a Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences, mentor fellow teachers, and lead classroom management in a childcare center serving families in Harrisburg. This role focuses on supporting preschool development and ensuring licensing adherence while partnering with families for each child’s growth.

We seek energetic, dependable individuals aged 18+ who can work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create: develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care: promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots: lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate: build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center’s success.
