Job summary

Beanstalk in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Master Teacher for a full-time position. You will plan with the Center Supervisor to supervise and instruct enrolled children, including those with exceptional needs or disabilities, and coach teaching staff as assigned.

The role requires 24 ECE/CD units, a current Master Teacher Child Development Permit, and CPR/First Aid certification; valid CA driver license and needed health clearances are required. Salary range: $31.99–$36.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Education: 24 ECE/CD units and 2 units adult supervision preferred.
• Credential: Master Teacher Child Development Permit.
• Experience: Minimum of one year as an Associate Teacher or Teacher; two years preferred.
• Certification: CPR and Pediatric First Aid, Health, Safety and Nutrition in child care setting.

Responsibilities

• Plans in collaboration with the Center Supervisor for supervision and instruction of enrolled children.
• May supervise teachers, associates, and aides as assigned.
• May be acting Center Supervisor when the center supervisor is absent.

Pay Range: $31.99 to $36.00/hr. (approx. $65,549 to $74,880 annually)

Plans in collaboration with the Center Supervisor for the supervision and instruction of enrolled children. Responsible for supervision of Teacher(s), Associate Teacher(s), Instructional Assistant(s), Paraprofessional(s), or volunteer(s) as assigned. May be designated as acting Center Supervisor when the center supervisor is absent for a day or more. The position includes working with/teaching children including children with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
