Job summary

Beanstalk in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Master Teacher for a full-time role in an early care and education program. The position involves supervising and instructing enrolled children and coordinating with the Center Supervisor to ensure program quality.

Responsibilities include supervising staff and volunteers, supporting classroom activities, and working with children, including those with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.

Qualifications

• 24 ECE/CD units and 2 units adult supervision preferred.
• Current Master Teacher Child Development Permit, issued by California Teacher Credentialing.
• Minimum of one year as an Associate Teacher or Teacher in an ECE/CD or school-age center; Two years preferred.
• Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid, Health, Safety and Nutrition in childcare setting.

• Plan in collaboration with the Center Supervisor for supervision and instruction of enrolled children.
• Supervise teachers, assistant teachers, aides and volunteers as assigned. May act as Center Supervisor when the supervisor is absent.

Full-Time Position

Part-Year program (August-May)

Pay Range: $31.99 to $36.00/hr. (approx. $65,549 to $74,880 annually)

Plans in collaboration with the Center Supervisor for the supervision and instruction of enrolled children. Responsible for supervision of Teacher(s), Associate Teacher(s), Instructional Assistant(s), Paraprofessional(s), or volunteer(s) as assigned. May be designated as acting Center Supervisor when the center supervisor is absent for a day or more. The position includes working with/teaching children including children with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• -Education: 24 ECE/CD units and 2 units adult supervision preferred.
