Job summary

Ulta Beauty Avon is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and deliver high-quality services that enhance the guest's total look.

You will support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager, focus on service sales and productivity, and stay current with trends to educate guests on products.

This role requires a Cosmetology license, strong guest service, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Developed communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales goal of $1250 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services.
• Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Support the execution of in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on new industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
