Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs and recommend products and services. The Master Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager (SM) and Assistant Services Manager (ASM) through performance, people, and process.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency in hair design, haircutting, coloring and styling.
• Ability to perform extensions, makeup, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Excellent guest service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, and treatments.
• Meet or exceed weekly service sales and productivity goals by delivering exceptional guest service.
• Demonstrate products and drive guest sales and loyalty.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives for an unrivaled guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
