General Summary & Scope

The Master Stylist engages with guests, provides hair care consultations, and recommends products and services. They deliver quality professional services focused on the guest’s overall look and support store management through performance, guest service, and operational compliance. Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Perform various hair and makeup services, including haircuts, color, styling, treatments, extensions, and ear piercing.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals, contributing to store sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink reduction.
• Demonstrate products to enhance sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance.

People

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently, including walk-ins.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Build professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
• Promote guest loyalty programs and app benefits.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings for professional development.

Process

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Follow established service protocols for consistent guest experiences.
• Utilize booking and client management systems.
• Communicate supply needs to management.
• Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to dress code.
• Follow loss prevention practices and execute operational tasks as assigned.
