Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking an Operations Master Scheduler to convert a backlog of pipe orders into an integrated build plan. You will lead the schedule, update it routinely, and coordinate with Supervisors, Purchasing, and Project Managers to meet customer demand and keep production moving.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of production scheduling/manufacturing planning experience; heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
• Background with pipe manufacturing or water/wastewater infrastructure products is a plus.
• Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6) proficiency, including resource loading.
• Mastery of scheduling principles and multi-project prioritization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate, detailed production schedules across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Supervisors, Purchasing, and Project Managers to meet baselines and due dates.
• Reflect scheduling directives from leadership in ERP and other planning tools.
• Identify bottlenecks, surface risks, and communicate updates to the Director and stakeholders.
• Ensure real-time schedule changes are incorporated on the production floor.
