Job summary

KELTEC, a Northeast Ohio-based filtration solutions company, is seeking a Master Scheduler to support manufacturing and distribution operations. This role develops and maintains production schedules to align demand with capacity, working with manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution teams to meet customer delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production planning, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, inventory levels, and capacity.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution teams to ensure alignment across operations.
• Balance production efficiency with customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes.
• Ensure optimal utilization of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Analyze demand forecasts, order trends, and inventory levels to support planning.
• Partner with procurement to ensure raw materials are available to meet production schedules.
• Minimize stockouts and excess inventory through proactive planning.
• Track scheduling metrics and provide insights to leadership on performance.
