Job summary

ABB in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Master Scheduler to create and manage the monthly master production schedule, ensuring alignment with S&OP and global objectives. The role partners with Demand, Production Control, Inventory, Logistics, and Finance to balance capacity and demand on an onsite schedule.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in scheduling or related fields, strong analysis, Excel proficiency, and US work authorization. APICS CPIM is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing scheduling, forecasting, asset management, or shipment planning.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
• Effective communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Authorization to work in the US for ABB.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage monthly master production schedule aligned with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Partner with Demand Management, Production Control, Inventory, Logistics, and Finance to balance capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
• Balance capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
• Track schedule accuracy, KPIs, and implement improvements to the master scheduling process.
• Support new product introductions and phase-outs; manage global inventory targets.
• Maintain global safety stock and finished goods inventory levels.
