Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, Tarboro-based producer, seeks a Production Planner to support production planning through inventory analysis and material movement coordination. You will reconcile inventory (raw, WIP) across systems, and back-up raw material ordering and deployment planning as needed.

You will own and maintain the master production schedule derived from the weekly plan, aligning with plant partners to meet deadlines and ensure product availability.

Qualifications

• This position prefers two years of related experience in business or operations.
• Experience with MRP/Account Management roles is recommended.
• Experience in food processing/manufacturing and office management.
• Strong math, analytical, and advanced Excel skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Verifies input material need and availability for production requirements and places orders with suppliers.
• Works with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Generates and manages purchase orders for raw materials and services.
• Tracks open orders and resolves late shipments or shortages.
• Interfaces with plants to drive alignment on master schedule and deadlines.
