Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, industrial management, business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, scheduling, and utilizing MRP.
  • Experience with ERP systems and capacity planning tools; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains production schedules/changes to ensure a controlled flow of materials to meet MRP.
  • Plans and organizes production capacity using scheduling tools for efficiency.
  • Provides status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
  • Analyzes/reconciles data to ensure system integrity.
  • Coordinates cross-functional interdepartmental activity with QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, program managers, operations and logistics.

Job description

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma! The Master Scheduler manages the daily factory Demand / Supply in support of achieving ERP schedules that meet customer requirements. This pivotal role will operate in an Enterprise Requirement Planning (ERP) system to ensure alignment of production schedule to support our end user. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate priority needs and schedules, in addition to achieving performance and customer goals while following documented organizational processes.

Responsibilities
  • Creates and maintains production schedules/changes, and coordinates program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer MRP.
  • Plans and organizes production capacity using scheduling tools for maximum manufacturing efficiency.
  • Provides status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Analyzes/reconciles data to ensure system integrity
  • Coordinates cross-functional interdepartmental activity as needed (i.e. with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, program managers operations, and logistics).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in manufacturing, scheduling, and utilizing MRP
  • Experience working in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems as well as capacity planning tools.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Demands
  • The role is a mix of office-based and production floor activities.
  • Will be required to operate a computer, other office devices.
  • Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 30 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Predominately office environment with occasional exposure to the production floor.
  • If in a manufacturing facility, will be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as safety glasses.
