Job summary

Antcom in Torrance, California, seeks a Master Scheduler to drive production planning, balance demand with capacity, and ensure on-time delivery while supporting inventory and broader operations goals.

You will level-load daily schedules, coordinate with Purchasing and Quality teams, lead production and expediting activities, and mentor a Production Planner to optimize manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
• Minimum 3 years of experience owning master production schedules within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of team leadership or people management experience.
• Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person as Antcom is an ITAR-registered facility.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar supply chain certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Level-load daily production schedules while analyzing capacity and constraints to optimize throughput and minimize cycle time and inventory.
• Review open and incoming orders for lead time accuracy and prioritize production schedules to maintain on-time delivery.
• Identify and report issues that could impact delivery commitments, schedules, or product quality.
• Lead shortage and production meetings with cross-functional teams and coordinate material expediting as needed.
• Balance current and future demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure steady material flow for production.
• Assist with new product introductions by coordinating pilot jobs and aligning across Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Provide leadership and oversight for a Production Planner.

Overview

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Master Scheduler to support effective production planning and scheduling operations. In this position, you will manage master production schedules, balance demand with manufacturing capacity, and ensure customer orders are delivered on time while supporting inventory and operational goals.

This position will join a high-performing Operations team focused on driving supply chain efficiency, production execution, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Torrance, California.

Responsibilities

As our Master Scheduler, you would be responsiblefor:

• Level-loading daily production schedules, analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize throughput while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals.
• Reviewing open and incoming orders for lead time accuracy and analyzing customer requirements to prioritize production schedules and maintain on-time delivery performance.
• Proactively identifying and reporting potential issues that could impact delivery commitments, production schedules, or product quality.
• Leading shortage & production meetings with cross-functional teams and coordinating material expedites where required to support production schedules.
• Balancing current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities and capacities to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Working closely with the Purchasing team to ensure an uninterrupted flow of materials to support production schedules.
• Assisting with new product introductions by coordinating pilot jobs and supporting alignment across Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
• Provide leadership and oversight for a Production Planner who reports directly to this role.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping and receiving.
• Minimum 3 years of experience owning master production schedules within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of team leadership or people management experience.
• Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Must be a U.S. Person as Antcom is an ITAR-registered facility.

• Advanced Excel reporting and data analysis capabilities.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $99000 - $149000 a year
