Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for Customer Care, Logistics, and manufacturing departments.
  • Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate resources to serve client needs.
  • Periodically compares orders with inventory; anticipates demand and procures supplies as needed.
  • Integrates sales orders with master schedule to meet delivery dates.
  • Maintains master distribution schedule for all facilities and alerts staff of changes.
  • Forecasts monthly revenue for assigned sites using production schedules and monthly Flash process.
  • Leads planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, and customer service staff.
  • Monitors scheduling performance and implements improvements to productivity and cost reductions.
  • Investigates production issues and develops action plans with plant operations.

  • Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
  • Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.
  • Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.
  • Maintains master distribution schedule for all facilities; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.
  • Collaborate with Customer Care and Operations to utilize the production schedule to forecast monthly revenue for assigned sites as part of the monthly Flash process
  • Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.
  • Use overall plant performance to expected metrics as tool to monitor scheduling sequence improvement performance.
  • Investigate production issues as they arise; work with plant operations to develop and execute action plans for resolution.
  • Work to implement process improvement, methods improvement, and problem-solving activities to improve productivity and reduce cost (Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods to minimum levels)
