Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Master Scheduler to lead production planning using SAP, ensuring schedules meet customer demand and business goals while maintaining safety and quality.

You will partner with procurement, manufacturing, and sales to optimize resources, forecast demand, and manage capacity. You’ll track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in production planning or supply chain management.
• Proficient in SAP APO or similar planning tools for MRP.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Develop and manage master production schedules using SAP tools
• Optimize resource allocation across manpower, equipment, and materials
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams for real-time material flow
• Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to manage schedule changes
• Analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Assess and manage capacity constraints with engineering and manufacturing teams
• Align production plans with revenue targets in partnership with sales and finance
• Generate reports and KPIs to keep stakeholders informed
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, or an associate degree with a minimum of 05 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain management
• Proficiency in SAP (especially APO or similar planning modules) MRP for production planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
