Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Master’s Level TF-CBT Intern to provide trauma-focused therapy to children, youth, and families in Kane and DuPage Counties under supervision of a Licensed Social Worker. The intern will conduct assessments, participate in treatment planning, and deliver TF-CBT while gaining hands-on experience in trauma-informed care.

This internship requires enrollment in a Master’s program and an internship must be part of your academic plan.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s Program and pursuing an internship as part of degree requirements.
• An applicable affiliation agreement must be in place before starting the internship.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks related to the intern’s field of study and professional development.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Conduct research and gather information to support departmental initiatives.
• Shadow team members to understand daily operations and workflows.
• Complete assigned tasks within established timelines under supervision.
• Attend required training and supervision and apply learning to activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
