Master's Level Clinician, Substance Abuse Unit - 40 hours, Days

Join our team as a Master's Level Clinician in the Substance Abuse Unit at UMass Memorial Health.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible 40 hours, day shift (8 hours)
  • Location: Worcester, MA
  • Exemption Status: Exempt
  • Cost Center: 25080 - 4232 Substance Abuse

This position may include a signing bonus, eligibility to be confirmed during the interview.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical social work services to meet the psychosocial needs of patients and families.
  • Offer consultation to hospital and medical staff on biopsychosocial issues, discharge planning, and care continuity.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to clients across various ages and recovery stages.
  • Complete documentation in compliance with hospital, DMH, BSAS, The Joint Commission, and insurance standards.
  • Manage caseload through consultations, collateral contacts, and follow-ups.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with children, adolescents, and families in mental health settings.
  • Graduation from an accredited MA/MSW program and licensed or license-eligible.
