Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) seeks a Master’s-level student intern to join the RESET Recovery and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) team in Aurora, CO. You will gain hands-on experience providing individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents within a harm-reduction, client-centered framework, under strong clinical supervision.

This fully onsite internship runs January 2027 through August 2027, with a 16–20 hour per week schedule, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Master's-level student in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Prior practicum experience preferred.
• Interest in co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents.
• Work within harm-reduction, client-centered framework.
• Receive ongoing supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
