Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist to work within our team to support adults with developmental disabilities.

The role requires collaboration with families and staff to implement positive behavior support plans and to complete functional assessments (FBA) as needed. The position emphasizes direct care, training, and careful documentation, with a focus on life quality improvements for participants and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License.
• Complete state training conducting and using a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) or willingness to complete during application process.

Responsibilities

• Observe the participant in various settings; collaborate with family and team to develop and implement a positive behavior support plan.
• Complete FBAs by conducting comprehensive functional assessments.
• Conduct training on behavior support plan implementation with staff, families, and caretakers.
• Complete required paperwork including data collection, progress reports, and annual planning materials.

Education
