Job summary

Gigantes Group is seeking an experienced Master Project Scheduler / Master Planner Scheduler to join its program management team in the DC area. You will own Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple DoD programs, delivering accurate timelines and performance information in support of national security initiatives.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret clearance, a technical bachelor's degree, at least five years of scheduling/PM experience, and expert proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline is required.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant project/program management or scheduling experience.
  • Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Professional.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program/project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex DoD programs.
  • Establish program milestones, dependencies, critical paths and integrated project timelines.
  • Analyze schedule performance, constraints, risks and potential recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, technical teams, subcontractors and government stakeholders.
  • Support resource forecasting, workload planning and schedule optimization.
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and identify potential program execution issues.
  • Lead recurring schedule reviews and planning sessions.
  • Track schedule variances and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics where applicable.
  • Produce schedule reports, dashboards and executive-level briefings.
  • Ensure schedules align with contractual requirements and program deliverables.
  • Support the development of scheduling processes, standards and PMO best practices.

Northern Virginia / DMV | Up to $190,000 | Active Top Secret Clearance Required| Relevant Degree Required

A federal government contractor is seeking an experienced Master Project Scheduler / Master Planner Scheduler to join its Program Management Office supporting complex Department of Defense and national security programs.

This position will take ownership of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across multiple projects and functional teams, providing program leadership with accurate scheduling, forecasting, risk analysis and performance information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex federal/DoD programs.
  • Establish program milestones, dependencies, critical paths and integrated project timelines.
  • Analyze schedule performance, constraints, risks and potential recovery strategies.
  • Work closely with Program Managers, technical teams, subcontractors and government stakeholders.
  • Support resource forecasting, workload planning and schedule optimization.

Required Experience

  • Active Top Secret clearance – required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline – required.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant project/program management or scheduling experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Professional.
  • Strong understanding of milestones, dependencies, critical path analysis, forecasting and schedule optimization.
  • Experience working across technical, program leadership and customer-facing teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program/project management experience.

Highly Desirable

  • DoD or Intelligence Community program experience.
  • PMO experience.
  • Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and IMS development.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge.
  • Schedule risk assessment and mitigation experience.
  • Experience presenting program performance information to senior leadership and government customers.

Compensation

Up to $190,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
