**General Job Description**

Dogwood Industries is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Master Project Scheduler to lead the development and execution of company-wide project and production schedules. This is a critical role responsible for coordinating master scheduling, capacity planning, and production prioritization across two manufacturing facilities. Given Dogwood's engineer-to-order environment and construction-style workflows, the ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced conditions. The Master Project Scheduler will work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Project Management teams to align resources with demand and ensure on-time delivery. This role will also drive the use of the system scheduling module to enhance planning visibility and coordination that is essential to Dogwood's ongoing growth and success.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain a master schedule for all Dogwood projects, incorporating elements typical of construction sequencing (e.g., design through fabrication)
  • Manage project-level schedules that integrate timelines from Engineering, Procurement, and Production, adjusting dynamically as scope or conditions evolve
  • Lead capacity planning efforts across labor, material, and equipment to identify and address constraints
  • Work closely with Project Managers to validate customer requirements, lead times, and delivery dates
  • Coordinate with Modeling/Detailing and Procurement to ensure drawings and materials are released in alignment with schedule requirements
  • Own the system scheduling module implementation and continuous usage improvement
  • Collaborate with Production Managers at Sedro-Woolley and Everett factories to align daily/weekly priorities and help facilitate bottleneck resolution
  • Analyze actual vs. planned performance to identify variances and drive corrective actions
  • Conduct scenario planning and schedule simulations to support leadership decision-making
  • Communicate schedule status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with clarity and urgency
  • Facilitate cross-departmental planning meetings to ensure alignment on project priorities, task handoffs, and scheduling implications
  • Help institutionalize formal project kickoffs and production gating processes
  • Other duties as assigned
