Job summary

CentroMotion in Medina, OH is seeking a Master Scheduler & Production Control Manager to own the complete production planning and control process across our manufacturing operations.

Translate customer demand into executable plans, balance capacity and inventory, and ensure on-time delivery while coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Warehousing, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or supply chain roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Production Planning, MRP, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management.
• Strong ERP system experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all manufacturing operations.
• Develop, maintain, and execute short-, medium-, and long-range production plans.
• Translate customer demand, forecasts, and sales orders into detailed production schedules.
• Balance customer requirements with labor, machine, material availability, and constraints.
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly production scheduling activities.
• Own end-to-end production control from order release through shipment.
• Monitor production progress and coordinate schedules across departments.
• Analyze and resolve bottlenecks, shortages, and capacity constraints.
• Coordinate recovery plans for late customer orders and disruptions.
• Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
• Develop demand planning models and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to align forecasts with capacity.
• Support budgeting and strategic planning through forecasting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain labor and machine capacity plans.
• Evaluate utilization, efficiency, staffing, and throughput opportunities.
• Identify constraints and mitigation plans.
• Recommend staffing, overtime, outsourcing, or capital investments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to mitigate material shortages.
• Manage inventory planning parameters and drive reduction initiatives.
• Own ERP planning data and master data like routings, BOMs, work centers, lead times.
• Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Drive automation and process improvements through data analytics.
• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
