Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data necessary for production planning, including Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Customers.
• Analyze demand forecasts and historical data to determine production requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
• Utilize manufacturing principles to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels and performance metrics.

The Master Production Scheduler successfully minimizes productioncosts through efficient job sequencing, batch sizing, setup costminimization and effective capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meetcustomer demand and optimize inventory levels.
