Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Scarborough, ME seeks a Master Plumber for full-time work on residential and light-commercial projects. You will diagnose, service, and install plumbing while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will read blueprints, explain options to customers, promote services, and mentor junior plumbers. A valid master plumber license plus EPA safety certifications are required, with on-call flexibility and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Seven years’ experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation.
• Master plumber license and/or gas license as required by regulations.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Knowledge of national, state, and local plumbing code regulations.
• Proficient at reading drawings and interpreting specifications.
• Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to train new plumbers in technical skills and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and install plumbing in residential and light-commercial environments.
• Communicate with customer to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure satisfaction.
• Promote products and services to customers.
• Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.
• Inspect plumbing systems for leaks and malfunctions; repair as needed.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are maintained and accounted for.
