Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking a licensed Texas Master Plumber for full-time work in the San Antonio, TX area. Expect diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial plumbing systems, maintenance of water heaters, drains, gas piping, and related equipment, with mentorship for Journeyman plumbers.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Master Plumber License.
• 7+ years of professional plumbing experience.
• Strong residential service, repair, installation, and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of Texas plumbing codes, gas piping, water heaters, drains, and water systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Mentoring, commercial plumbing, sewer diagnostics, repiping, and water treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex residential and commercial plumbing problems.
• Perform service, repair, replacement, installation, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Repair water leaks and service water supply, waste, vent, and drainage systems.
• Install and service water heaters, drain and sewer diagnostics, and related equipment.
• Explain problems and recommended solutions to customers; maintain service documentation.

Your New Role

• Work as a Master Plumber in San Antonio, TX and the surrounding service area

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex residential and commercial plumbing problems

• Perform plumbing service, repair, replacement, installation, and maintenance

• Diagnose and repair plumbing and water leaks

• Install and repair water supply, waste, vent, and drainage systems

• Install, repair, and service traditional and tankless water heaters

• Perform drain and sewer diagnostics, repairs, and replacements

• Install and repair toilets, faucets, fixtures, valves, garbage disposals, and related plumbing equipment

• Diagnose and service gas piping and related systems

• Install and service water treatment and water softening equipment

• Complete whole-home repiping and plumbing system upgrades

• Read and interpret plumbing plans, specifications, diagrams, and technical documentation

• Ensure plumbing work complies with Texas plumbing codes, local requirements, permits, safety requirements, and company standards

• Clearly explain plumbing problems, repair options, and recommended solutions to customers

• Maintain accurate service documentation and records of completed work

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Journeyman Plumbers and apprentices when needed

• Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

• Valid Texas Master Plumber License

• 7+ years of professional plumbing experience

• Strong residential service, repair, installation, and troubleshooting experience

• Knowledge of Texas plumbing codes, gas piping, water heaters, drain, sewer, and water systems

• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Mentoring, commercial plumbing, sewer diagnostics, repiping, and water treatment experience preferred
