Qualifications

• Active Texas Master Plumber license with ability to obtain or maintain the RMP designation.
• Residential service experience including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
• Ability to manage service calls from diagnosis to completion under licensing rules.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and permits.
• Excellent customer communication and practical recommendations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to mentor apprentices and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve residential plumbing issues in occupied homes.
• Repair and install water heaters, leaks, drains, sewer and gas lines, fixtures, filtration or softeners.
• Explain findings and options clearly to homeowners and provide accurate estimates.
• Ensure work meets codes, permits, safety, and company standards.
• Serve as Responsible Master Plumber when licensed and designated.
• Maintain accurate records, tools, and company vehicle.
• Improve field procedures, customer service, and efficiency.

We are seeking a Texas Master Plumber with proven residential service experience to lead field operations and serve as our Responsible Master Plumber. We also welcome applications from eligible Texas Journeyman Plumbers committed to obtaining their Master Plumber license and RMP designation.

This is a hands‑on role with direct access to ownership and the opportunity to help shape a growing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and resolve residential plumbing issues in occupied homes.
• Perform repairs and installations involving water heaters, leaks, drains, sewer lines, gas lines, fixtures, and filtration or water softener systems.
• Explain findings and options clearly to homeowners and prepare accurate estimates before work begins.
• Ensure work meets applicable plumbing codes, permit requirements, safety practices, and company quality standards.
• Serve as Landmark’s Responsible Master Plumber once appropriately licensed and designated, fulfilling the responsibilities associated with the position.
• Maintain accurate job records and organized tools, equipment, and company vehicle.
• Help improve field procedures, customer service, and job efficiency.
• Mentor apprentices and technicians as the team grows.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Texas Master Plumber license and ability and willingness to obtain or maintain the RMP designation; or an active Texas Journeyman Plumber license with eligibility to sit for the Texas Master Plumber examination and willingness to obtain the Master Plumber license and RMP designation.
• Proven hands‑on residential plumbing service experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
• Ability to manage residential service calls from diagnosis through completion, within applicable licensing and supervision requirements.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, applicable codes, and permit requirements.
• Clear customer communication and the ability to provide honest, practical recommendations.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Ability to perform essential field duties, including handling equipment and working in attics or confined spaces.
• Dependability, punctuality, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to commercial work or new construction must also demonstrate residential service and repair experience.
• Journeyman candidates may assume the RMP role only after obtaining the required Texas Master Plumber license and RMP designation.
