Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road seeks a dedicated mechanic to join a concrete paving crew full time. Responsibilities include assembling, maintaining and repairing construction equipment, diagnosing issues, testing installations, and ensuring safe operation. Must have 2+ years of mechanic experience, a high school diploma or GED, and fluent English.

Prior slipform paver and G&Z or Gomaco familiarity is a strong plus. Legal work authorization in the United States is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years related mechanic experience.
• Fluent English reading and speaking for safety and operations.
• Experience with slipform pavers, concrete placing and cure/texture machines is a plus.
• Experience with G&Z and Gomaco equipment is highly valued.

• Mechanical, welding, and electrical experience preferred - For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English
