  • Mechanics knowledge and certification may be evaluated in exams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repairing/rebuilding tasks on trucks and equipment.
  • Work with metals, welding, hydraulics, transmissions, differentials, power dividers, engines, brakes and suspensions.
  • Assist wiring for trucks and equipment and undergo mechanic examinations as required.

Mechanics Job Knowledge, Skills and mechanic examination will be administered. Position is being filled at either Mechanic level (starting rate $27.985 per hour) or Master Mechanic level ($29.819 per hour), based on experience and certifications.
