Job summary

Roche is building a state-of-the-art, high-volume drug product manufacturing facility in North Carolina. The Master Manufacturing Technician will design, qualify, startup and register automated visual inspection lines, train staff, and ensure cGMP standards. The role involves collaboration with engineering, MSAT, quality and regulatory teams, with relocation support and potential annual bonus, targeting a groundbreaking, career-defining project.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or AA degree with 5+ years in pharma/manufacturing
• Experience with high-volume automated visual inspection lines and GMP
• Willingness to relocate/on-site and travel up to 30% during project phase
• Proficiency with SAP or ERP systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and training on complex process and equipment technologies to partners
• Develop training materials and coach junior technicians
• Assist in writing SOPs for new equipment and qualification activities
• Support acceptance testing and ongoing operations of AVI lines
