Job summary

Roche/Genentech in Holly Springs, NC, is building a state-of-the-art, high-volume drug product manufacturing site. We seek a Master Manufacturing Technician to support design, qualification, startup and registration of automated visual inspection lines, collaborate with engineering, MSAT, Quality and Regulatory, and help train teams.

You will master AVI equipment, perform visual product inspections, support SOPs, conduct acceptance testing, and transition to daily operation, ensuring cGMP

Qualifications

• You possess a minimum of High School and 7+ related year production experience and/or AA degree and 5+ years technical related experience in the pharma industry, supply chain management or in manufacturing.
• You have proficient knowledge and experience of SAP or ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Master the daily operation, setup, and troubleshooting of high‑speed Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) machines.
• Perform manual visual inspections of filled drug products and classify defects.
• Maintain, audit, and re‑certify defect kits for daily machine challenges and validation activities.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, contribute to investigations, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Manage material staging and movement for inspection lines to maintain continuous flow.
• Complete and review process‑related documentation and support training activities.
