Qualifications

• Experience operating manual lathes, mills, shapers, drill presses, and grinders.
• Strong knowledge of machining procedures, mechanics, mathematics, and metal properties.
• Ability to read blueprints and layouts to determine procedures.
• Non-CNC machining knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Machining repairs and fabrication of components for motors, generators, pumps, turbines, and gearboxes using manual lathes, mills, shapers, drill presses, and grinders.
• Apply electroplating processes as required to enhance component durability and functionality.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining procedures, dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, and ensure safe, accurate production.
• Maintain equipment and practice safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
