Job summary

SpectraCare Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Master Level Therapist to join the In Home Intervention Team servicing Houston County from our Children's Services office in Dothan, AL. This full‑time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours to meet family and program needs.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work, plus at least one year post‑master supervised experience. Travel within the five‑county catchment may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
• At least one year of post-master supervised experience in direct service.
• Willing to attend required training and pass background check.
• Must have a good driving record and be insurable to drive a system vehicle.

• Serving as the team leader and providing services to families involved in the IHI project
• Responsible for evaluating referrals, assist with and perform interviews, and planning services
• Serve as a liaison for IHI Project families with community agencies and the public.
• Overseeing, maintaining and performing designated documentation in client records according to standards
• Provides crisis intervention and/or conflict resolution
• Some travel may be required within the 5 county catchment area

Requirements

• A Master\'s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field is required
• One year post master supervised experience in a direct service area.
• Must be willing to attend Child and Adolescent Case Management and In-Home Intervention training
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must have a good MVR
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age).
