Job summary

FIDELITONE in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician to perform complex repairs on case goods, upholstery and motion products. You will inspect, touch up and refinish furniture to match color and finish, using knowledge of wood, metal and fabrics.

You will be trained on repairs and rebuilding upholstered furniture, with hands-on use of tools and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, lower, push or pull furniture up to 100 pounds with assistance if needed.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Presents professional appearance by being in proper uniform and well organized.
• Identify all necessary tools and equipment to perform job.
• Inspects and touch-ups new furniture being loaded for delivery.
• Finishes or refinishes damaged new furniture to match color or finish, using knowledge of wood/metal properties, finishes and furniture styling.
• Proficient with any required repairs and upholstering techniques.
• Trained on repairs and to rebuild upholstered furniture using hand tools and fabrics knowledge.
• Performs stain removal from various materials as applicable.
• Repairs minor scuffs and dye lot discrepancies to leather products.
