Job summary

FIDELITONE in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician with woodworking and upholstery experience to repair case goods and motion products. You will perform complex repairs, refinishing and touch-ups on furniture to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting, matching finishes, and collaborating with team to ensure timely deliveries. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and communicate effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with wood furniture, leather, fabric and upholstery.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Aptitude for craftsmanship, artistry, and carpentry.
• Proficient in color matching and blending.
• Experience with wood repairs: scratches, dents, splits.
• Upholstery repairs including internal mechanisms replacements.

Responsibilities

• Present professional appearance and proper uniform.
• Identify tools and equipment needed for repairs.
• Inspect and touch up new furniture for delivery.
• Finish or refinish damaged furniture to match color/finish.
• Perform “burn in” repairs.
• Repair and rebuild upholstered furniture using hand tools.
• Remove stains from various materials.
• Repair scuffs and dye lot discrepancies on leather.
