Job summary
The City of Charlotte is seeking a Master Emergency Vehicle Technician to lead a team of EVT and ASE-certified technicians within the Fleet Management Division. You will diagnose, inspect, and repair fire apparatus and support equipment to keep city operations running smoothly.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
- ASE Master Certification is preferred.
- EVT Master Certification is preferred for fire apparatus.
- Emergency Vehicle Technician Master Status is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex diesel engines and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot fire apparatus-related hydraulic systems and air brakes.
- Mentor junior technicians and ensure high standards across the team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed in fleet software.
