Job summary

Cedar Community is seeking an experienced Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical systems across the community. The role involves diagnosing issues and supporting renovations to ensure safe, comfortable spaces for residents and staff.

Licensed Journeyman or Master Electricians will work full-time day shifts with on-call responsibilities, contributing to a stable, year-round operation in Washington County. Vaccination policies as described apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems.
• Strong ability to diagnose issues involving outlets, switches, breakers, circuits.
• Experience performing electrical work for construction, renovation, or remodeling projects.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and applicable regulations.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Troubleshooting & Repair – Diagnose and repair outlets, switches, breakers, circuits, and other components.
• Electrical Systems & Equipment – Troubleshoot systems, equipment, and building systems to identify issues and perform repairs.
• Renovations & Remodeling – Perform electrical work on renovation projects in apartments, homes, and spaces.
• Installation & Maintenance – Install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and related infrastructure.
• Safety & Compliance – Complete electrical work safely according to codes and Cedar Community safety practices.
