Overview: Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our client's facilities team in Quincy, MA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and upgrading a 700,000 square foot distribution center. This is a full-time, on-site position with a first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform facilities upgrades, renovations, and energy efficiency improvements.
• Handle both high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, including systems as low as 24 volts.
• Manage and maintain a 1.3 megawatt solar installation on the roof.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with vendors as necessary.
• Serve as a power monitoring expert, particularly with sub-meter systems.
• Lead various electrical projects and ensure their successful completion.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and read schematics and blueprints.
• Continuously seek and implement improvements in electrical systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule (after 6 PM, 3-4 week rotation) with on-call pay of $20 per day.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with commercial-level generators.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Strong background in both high voltage and low voltage electrical work.
• Experience in a facilities management setting.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Basic knowledge of local and state electrical codes.
• Proven experience working with vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with fire protection systems.
• Knowledge of building automation systems, particularly Schneider, Wattstopper, and Synapse.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
• Proficiency in CMMS, with experience in ServiceNow, Blue Mountain, or Maximo being advantageous.
