Job summary

DCO Energy is seeking a licensed Master Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation/control systems at our energy facilities. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with Electric Code, and high voltage troubleshooting across multiple plant sites.

The technician will read blueprints, inspect equipment, perform maintenance, and respond to emergency calls as needed. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in electrical/instrumentation/controls
• Must hold Michigan Master Electrician license
• Knowledge of high voltage up to 13,200 volts essential
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specs
• Must pass safety and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation/control systems (up to 13,200 V)
• Ensure compliance with Electric Code and safety standards
• Perform high voltage maintenance and troubleshooting
• Read orders, blueprints and schematics; document work orders
• Respond to emergencies and complete paperwork on time
