Job summary

CMI Management LLC, now part of the Dexterra Group, seeks a Master Electrician to perform high-voltage electrical installation and maintenance at a Washington, DC customer site. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, testing and repair of electrical systems, and installation or repair of generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, and related equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years providing electrical repair services, preferably within a federal facility.
Must be a licensed Master Electrician (DC).
Ability to troubleshoot high, medium and low voltage electrical systems in large commercial structures.

Responsibilities

Receive assignments verbally or by work order and determine the safest methods to accomplish tasks.
Responsible for electrical preventive maintenance.
Test and repair electrical systems.
Install or repair equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications to locate and diagnose issues in electrical systems.
