Job summary

The UVA Community Health division is seeking a licensed Master Electrician to maintain and upgrade non-clinical electrical systems across UVA Health facilities. You will operate, test, and document electrical work and coordinate with facilities management and vendors.

The role requires an active Master Electrician license, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to work independently on day shift. Base compensation ranges from $25.42 to $40.09 per hour, with sign-on bonus and on-call

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 2-year/associate degree preferred.
• 3 years of electrical trade apprenticeship required.
• Current Master Electrician license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain non-clinical electrical systems and equipment.
• Test and service emergency power generators and transfer switches.
• Install and maintain electrical cabling and data/telephone cabling.
• Keep electrical safety and inspection documentation up to date.
