UVA Community Health is seeking a licensed electrician to maintain building electrical systems across UVA Health’s Northern VA Culpeper and affiliated facilities. The role requires a Master Electrician license, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• High school diploma; 2-year technical degree preferred; 3 years apprenticeship required.
• Master Electrician license required; valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Operates, maintains, installs, and inspects all non-clinical electrical systems and equipment within the hospital plant.
• Tests and performs preventative maintenance on emergency power generators.
• Coordinates repairs with assigned vendor.
• Installs and maintains telephone and data cabling.
• Maintains electrical inspection and testing documentation for electrical safety program.
• Assists other Facilities Management staff as requested by Director, Facilities Management.
• Performs other job-related duties as directed by Director, Facilities Management.
• Follows safety and infection control policies; provides fire and security services during the day shift.
• Performs emergency after-hours (on-call) maintenance.
