Master Electrician

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is seeking a Master Electrician for a contract position in Quincy, MA. The role is initially for one year with a strong possibility of long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Manage and execute facilities upgrades, renovations, and energy efficiency initiatives
• Maintain and troubleshoot high and low voltage systems, including 1.5 MW supply site, generators, fire pumps, and substations
• Monitor and support solar energy systems (1.3 MW rooftop installation) in collaboration with vendors
• Lead electrical projects and oversee continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain maintenance logs, schematics, and sub-meter systems for power monitoring
• Act as the point of contact for vendor coordination and troubleshooting
• Participate in an on-call rotation (every 3-4 weeks after 6 PM, with appropriate compensation)

Qualifications:

• Master Electrician License with at least 5 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with commercial generators
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Expertise in high and low voltage systems (down to 24 volts)
• Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial settings
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Knowledge of local and state electrical codes with practical application
• Proven experience working with vendors for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Experience with fire protection systems
• Knowledge of building automation systems, especially Schneider, Wattstopper, and Synapse
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) experience
• Proficiency with CMMS software such as ServiceZone, BlueMountain, or Maximo
