DIRECT HIRE | MASTER ELECTRICIAN | MICHIGAN

Electrical contractor on a high-profile renewable energy project in Michigan is seeking a Master Electrician. Candidates must hold an active Michigan Master Electrician license to lead electrical installations for a greenfield substation connected to a large solar project. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant solar initiative with competitive pay and comprehensive support.

Note: This is a 6-month project-based position with no guaranteed work beyond the project's completion, although future opportunities may become available.

• MUST HAVE active MI Master Electrician License
• Pay rate: $58.79/hr. straight time, $88.19/hr. overtime
• Expected 50-60 hours per week, with occasional Saturday work
• Hotel accommodations provided + $100 per diem for days worked (if applicable)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform electrical installations, including 70 double crate poles, for a greenfield substation
• Ensure compliance with Michigan electrical codes and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers to meet project timelines
• Operate under your Master Electrician license to support electrical scope
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot electrical systems as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Master Electrician license in Michigan (required)
• Experience in substation construction, renewable energy, or utility projects preferred
• Ability to work 50–60 hours/week, including some Saturdays
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and motor vehicle record check
• Local or willing to travel with paid lodging
