About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Master Electrician to work on Commercial and Residential Solar Projects. This is a highly visible role that offers the potential for long-term career growth within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, dedication to the trade, eagerness to learn and improve skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

1. Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for residential and commercial solar PV and ESS systems.
2. Collaborate on project planning and execution with fellow electricians and project managers.
3. Supervise the work of apprentice electricians and installers.
4. Ensure electrical systems meet company standards, the Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes.
5. Provide regular reports of team activities to project managers.
6. Assist in job safety, site support, staging materials, and site preparation and cleanup.
7. Keep service van properly stocked.
8. Coordinate and communicate with electrical inspectors on projects.
9. Communicate professionally with homeowners.
10. Provide regular updates on job status, and complete necessary paperwork and photos.
11. Able to troubleshoot electrical issues independently.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current/valid New York Master Electrical License required.
• Knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Residential and commercial electrical work experience.

Compensation

Open to discussion based on experience and active licenses.
