Oil City Iron Works, Inc., located in Corsicana, Texas, is currently seeking a Master Electrician to join their maintenance team. This full-time, onsite position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the company's industrial electrical systems.

Our modern gray and ductile iron facility is the largest gray and ductile iron non-captive foundry in Texas. We can take a project from blueprint to finished components. Our team of specialists produces quality engineered castings with an exceptionally high customer acceptance rate, serving both domestic and international customers. Oil City Iron Works, Inc. has both green sand and no-bake mold line operations in a single 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that can produce machined castings from .5 to 8,000 lbs. Our manufacturing is supported by leading Quality Assurance technology, such as MAGMA Flow software, Capture 3D scanning capabilities, Mag Particle inspection and in-house chemical/mechanical certification. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of all plant and equipment electrical systems.

  • Work on plant electrical distribution systems, PLCs, including motor controls, hydraulics, distribution panels, ducts, disconnects, and transformers.

  • Handle complex machine control systems, including relay or solid-state logic.

  • Determine sources of electrical problems and take corrective action.

  • Ensure that electrical installations comply with applicable codes.

  • Wear prescribed safety equipment and observe all safety policies.

  • Utilize standard testing meters and instruments related to the position.

  • Lift up to 60 lbs on a continuous basis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • State of Texas Master Electrician License.

  • 4 - 6 years of previous industrial electrical experience.

  • Working knowledge of 480V systems.

  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot existing equipment.

  • Proficiency in using standard electrical testing meters and instruments.

  • Completion of pre-employment physical specific to the department.

  • Completion of company and safety training.

  • Completion of the quality training program.

  • Fast-paced manufacturing setting with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Pay Rate: $38.00 to $40.00 Hr. Base
