Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Master Level Diesel Technician in Garner, North Carolina to maintain and repair heavy duty vehicles. The role offers weekly pay, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for certification bonuses.

The position requires advanced diagnostic and repair skills, strong analytical ability, and the capacity to work a second shift with on-call duties. A CDL within 6 months may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform all T3 tasks.
• Advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Available for shift work, weekends and on-call duty.
• Prefer ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic.
• Operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical/electronic problems with minimal support.
• Use diagnostic computers/software to troubleshoot issues.
• Coaches/Mentors other technicians and advises shop management.
