Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in master data management.
• Bachelor’s degree or related program.
• 1–3 years in Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail.
• Proficiency with SAP for Article Master Data governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage master data for Candy, Snacks, Beverages, Tobacco, HBA mainline, Liquor, and Stationery.
• Process master data tickets; update progress and status.
• Communicate with Commercial and Operations requestors for clarifications.
• Process ticket requests via HDCS submission and Vendor Portal.
• Generate and load VIS files into SAP; troubleshoot and resolve errors.
• Future auto load development from Vendor Portal; review and validate.
• Refresh Purchase Orders for updated costs.
• Create, edit, test promos in all necessary systems and tools.
• Maintain data accuracy with impeccable attention to detail.

Advertised Compensation: $26.44 to $30.19

Purpose

The purpose of the Master Data Specialist is to support the business by maintaining a high level of data integrity and to be a team member within the master data function. This role is responsible for creating and modifying article master files, and associated activities for the retail line of business.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for select categories (Candy, Snacks, Beverages, Tobacco, HBA mainline, Liquor, Stationary)
• Process master data ticket queue, update progress, and status for assigned categories and users
• Communicate with requestors (both Commercial and Operations) where clarification or updates are necessary
• Process ticket requests via HDCS submission and Vendor Portal and potential future applications/tools/modules
• Generate and load VIS files into SAP, troubleshoot and resolve errors, and validate
• Future potential development auto load from Vendor Portal work shifts from VIS load to Portal review and validation
• Refresh Purchase Orders for updated costs as needed
• Create, edit, update and test promos in all necessary systems and tracking tools
• Maintain accuracy with impeccable attention to detail

The position reports to the Assistant Manager, Master Data

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Work Environment

• Education and Experience : The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 1 year:
• In a technical role: Requires 1 year of experience related to master data management.
• A bachelor’s degree or a program related to the functional area can count for this requirement.
• In the industry: 1-3 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
• Specialized Training:
• Proficiency with SAP; Specifically, Article Master Data governance and processes
• Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Collaborate effectively within diverse teams
• Produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several different activities
• Prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment
• Adapt communication style to different situations and people as well as to a complex business structure

Location

Requires regular or hybrid attendance at the North America Support Center in Bethesda, Maryland
