Job summary

Palermo’s Canal Street location in Milwaukee seeks a Master Data Manager who will lead governance, quality, and lifecycle management of product master data across ERP and related systems.

You'll partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to ensure product data is accurate, complete, and ready for launches and customer data syndication, while developing KPIs and leading the Senior Master Data Analyst.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in master data, product data, data governance, or ERP data management.
• Experience in manufacturing, food, or a complex product environment.
• Experience with ERP item or material setup and master data lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.
• Experience leading people, projects, or cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality, governance, and lifecycle management of Palermo’s product master data.
• Ensure produced and purchased items are created accurately within ERP and related systems.
• Partner across the organization to support commercialization and new product launches.
• Oversee GDSN and customer product data syndication to reach customers accurately.
• Identify data-quality issues, determine root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Improve master data processes, controls, workflows, reporting, and documentation.
• Develop KPIs and reporting to show data quality and workflow performance.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on system enhancements and automation.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Senior Master Data Analyst.
