Job summary

Sharp Services, LLC is seeking a hands-on Manager of Master Data Management and Governance to lead the Data Control team for U.S. Commercial Packaging operations. You will ensure accurate, approved data is created and maintained on time.

This role defines ownership, drives data quality, and implements workflows and automation. You will partner with ERP systems, IT, Quality and Finance to build a scalable enterprise data governance program.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in master data, governance, ERP data ops or related field.
• Hands-on experience with material‑master/item data in an enterprise ERP.
• Experience with material‑master attributes, BOMs, routings and lifecycle status.
• Proven ability to define ownership, workflows and data‑quality rules.
• Experience driving process improvements via intake, workflow, automation, reporting.
• Knowledge of data integration, APIs, identity and access controls, audit trails.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication and change leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems, data management, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Control team, set priorities and ensure continuity of critical master‑data requests.
• Coach and support the team; establish backups, procedures, cross‑training and escalation paths.
• Oversee QAD item/material masters, routings, references and related records.
• Define governance model with owners, stewards and approval workflows.
• Implement intake, workflow, automation and governed publication to systems of record.
• Partner with Enterprise Applications, IT, Quality, Finance and Operations to improve data governance.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and service visibility with cross‑functional stakeholders.
