Job summary

Sharp Packaging Services is seeking a hands-on Manager of Master Data Management and Governance to lead data control operations and build enterprise data capability. The role covers QAD item/material masters, routings, lifecycle controls and data stewardship across key systems.

You will establish ownership, improve data quality, and reduce fragmented processes through workflow, automation and governed intake.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive experience in master data, data governance, ERP data operations or related field.
• Hands-on experience governing material/item data in an enterprise ERP environment.
• Experience with QAD material-master, product structures, routings and lifecycle attributes.
• Experience defining ownership, governance workflows, data-quality rules and exception handling.
• Experience improving operational service through structured intake, workflow, automation and reporting.
• Working knowledge of data integration, APIs, identity/access controls, audit trails and system-of-record synchronization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in information systems, data management, engineering, supply chain or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily Data Control service, maintain priorities and ensure continuity of critical master-data requests.
• Coach and support the existing team; establish backups, documented procedures, cross-training and escalation paths.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of in-scope QAD data such as material/item masters, routings and references.
• Define operating model for data owners, stewards and contributors with approved workflows.
• Design a structured intake model to capture data once and route to the right owner.
• Introduce automation and governance across platforms with approved integration patterns.
• Partner with IT, Quality and Finance to ensure validation, controls and auditable data.
