Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Master Data Management Clerk to process customer, product, asset, supplier, and maintenance data, ensuring data integrity and governance across the MDM Shared Service Platform.

You will review source documents, resolve discrepancies, support plant end users, and maintain audit trails while complying with SOX controls.

Minimum two years accounts payable experience and a high school diploma are required; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2+ years accounts payable experience in industry or public accounting.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
  • Highly organized; superior time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Processes customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
  • Review data for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies per SOPs.
  • Fields calls from plant personnel to ensure data is complete and accurate.
  • Verifies entered data and maintains data entry accuracy.
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following SOPs and data program techniques.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies and SOX controls.

Job Description

The Master Data Management Clerk is responsible for processing master data primarily relating to customer, product item, asset, supplier and maintenance data domains. As part of the MDM team, this role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of data integrity, governance, and service to internal customers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Processes customer and account data from source documents within time limits (i.e. IB, BSA, certifications, etc.) in the MDM Shared Service Platform
  • Understands the impact of master data within the organization and systems for applicable data domains (i.e. underlying cross-functional/cross-system dependencies)
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies, resolving discrepancies by using standard operating procedures or returning incomplete documents to the plant requester or Sr Manager MDM for resolution
  • Fields calls from plant personnel and works closely with plant end users to ensure data information is completed accurately
  • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, or reentering data to ensure for data entry completeness
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and standard operating procedures
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect operation by keeping information confidential
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions
  • Maintain a full audit trail of data charges
  • Comply with designated MDM SOX controls, ensure appropriate records are maintained for future audits as required
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing MDM related results as required
  • Services forms for new customers, customer changes and the Oracle RM Account Workbench
  • Ensures daily goal of all MDM Shared Services platform requests be completed daily
  • All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2+ years accounts payable experience in industry or public accounting.

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Oracle accounting systems experience desired.
  • Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis.
  • Highly organized; superior time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated; self-starter; extroverted personality.
  • Work well with all levels of the corporation.
